Calling all performers! Berlin's Got Talent - our K-12 Talent Show - is scheduled for Friday March 17th. Any Berlin student is eligible to perform and prizes will be awarded! Pick up a form from the office or see Mrs. Spiri! Forms are due March 10th!
Scholastic Quiz practice will be held after school Thursday until 4:15 in Mrs. Straight's room. Students in grades 6-8 are invited to attend and see what Scholastic Quiz is all about.
Bricks4kidz is offering an afterschool LEGO® S.T.E.M. winter session for grades K-6 beginning February 27. For more information, stop in the middle school office for a flyer.
Attention: Any students interested in trying out for Color Guard! There will be open gym rehearsals each Wednesday from 6-8 PM in the Elementary Gym. There is no commitment; this will allow anyone with some interest to try the activity out. Be sure to wear workout clothes and be ready to move! (Mr. Oldham)

Reminder to students/parents: Students are not permitted in the school buildings before 8:00 a.m.
Please be aware that the Bus Pass Policy remains unchanged for the current school year. Please refer to page 8 in the Middle School Student Handbook.
Excuses for day(s) absent must be submitted to the office when the student returns. If an excuse is not received within three days of return, the day(s) will be marked as unexcused or unlawful. Excuse forms are available in the office and on the web page under "Parents". Please refer to pages 5 thru 7 in the Student Handbook for more details.
The Berlin Brothersvalley School District Adult Walking Program will begin on November 1, 2016 and continue through March 30, 2017.
The purpose of this program is to allow adults to have a place to exercise by walking daily without having to brave the elements of Somerset County.
Some basic rules have been implemented for the benefit of the walkers:
1. Walking is permitted from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ONLY.
2. Walking is permitted Monday through Thursday when school is in session.
3. When students are on vacation, the school will not be open in the evening.
4. Walkers are to enter the building at the main elementary entrance and sign the walkers’ registration book located inside the entrance each night.
5. Children are not permitted to participate or accompany the adult.
